Winners of two prestigious photographic competitions announced

For anyone with an interest in nature and landscape photography, the past week has been significant with the announcement of winners for two of the world's' more prestigious prizes.

On Tuesday amateur Canadian photographer Don Gutoski took out the 2015 Wildlife Photographer of the Year prize, announced at London's Natural History Museum. His winning shot of two warring foxes (below) was selected from over 42,000 entries submitted from around the world.

Meanwhile, yesterday the winning entries were announced for the 2015 Epson International Pano Awards. Have a look through the finalists' galleries, which feature some incredible imagery of both natural and man-made/built environments.
