2,000 and counting...

After an incredibly successful opening of the current exhibition at Chutney on Södermalm, I'm proud and immensely grateful to announce that the £2,000 fundraising target has been reached! A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Oxfam's Ebola crisis appeal, either through purchasing a print or making a donation.

If you've been meaning to donate and haven't yet, or would like to make a contribution by buying a photograph, there's still time! Please head along to Chutney  or alternatively visit the fundraising page at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/davidjohnhumphreysMany thanks once again for your generosity!

Fundraising for the Ebola response

Since the beginning of the epidemic in Western Africa, an estimated 9,177 people have died as a result of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), and a further 23,000 have been infected.[1] Many more have lost friends, family, lovers, children, colleagues.

Oxfam is an international Non-Government Organisation that is working in Liberia and Sierra Leone to rebuild the lives and communities destroyed by Ebola. On April 26 I will run the London Marathon to raise £2,000 for this worthy cause, and your support would be gratefully appreciated.

To donate, please visit http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/davidjohnhumphreys - all proceeds will go directly to support Oxfam's work in the region. Thank you so much to all of you who have already made a contribution.
